Joyriide Detailed- E90 328i revisited.

You guys should remember this car. If not, below is the link to his original detail.

Well the owner works near a gravel field and hasn't been able to maintain it too well. It has a little added wash induced marring and loads of tiny water spots.

He only needed a thorough touch up and cleaning, but since my full detail I had scheduled, cancelled last minute, figured I would take advantage of the time and just use his car as testing.

I tried a few different methods of use and some mystery products which for now I will not name. Also applied some time efficient techniques to this job. It was my test bed for the afternoon. I got really carried away and ended up polishing all horizontal surfaces of the car.

Excuse the small pictures, my mistake.

Dawn Detergent- Wheels/Tires
Simple Green-Fenderwells
Gold Class Wash
Claymagic Blue
3M Ultrafina via grey finishing pad @ 1000 rpms
FK1 Pink Wax spit shined with chilled distilled water.
DP Glass restorer-windshield
Poorboys Wheel Sealant
Meguiars HD- 4-1- Fenderwells
TOL Grape dressing- Tires
Poorboys QD+ - Door Jams
Meguiars #40- Interior Vinyl, plastic, and rubber
Invisible Glass

After

Very nice work, reflection is insane bro. The interior looks very nice and has that great "matte" finish, not that garbage "Armor All" look.

Yea, I don't dig any gloss on the interior. After applying Meguiars #40, I give a thorough wipe down to help tone down the gloss.
