F.H.P. a little unorganized these days?
Second ticket I have received from FHP over the years that has mysteriously "disappeared." Got a ticket on June 27th for my tint. State Trooper chased me down on the turnpike to write me a good 'ol tint ticket. What a joke.. I've been trying to pay this thing for weeks nothing has shown up anywhere. The best the clerk can tell me if to "mail in my payment" but why the hell would I do that if it hasn't even shown up?
Anyone have similar experiences? I was pulled over in PBC btw. Tried to call FHP directly but they have no way of pulling up the info.
I have no problem paying the ticket but since it hasn't shown up anywhere I think I'll just wait for a notice down the road.

If it doesnt show up within 30 days the ticket is void by state law.
Ive been in the same exact spot waiting to pay, and it never showed up on there website, ever. I still check to this day and nothing.
EDIT: by "not show up", I mean the officer didnt enter the infraction into there database within the regulated time alotted.

I just texted my attorney to ask if there was any validity to that and I got a "No" a link to statute?
Edit: Hey it makes sense to me if I'm obligated to take care of it within 30 days then why should I have to deal with it after the allotted time if the occifer didn't bother to process the ticket. I think she realized after I left what a joke it was to chase me down in 5 o clock traffic on the turnpike to write me a damn tint ticket! My tint is 20% not even limo!

Alright guys another issue with a citation. A few Saturday's ago I was cited for improper parking because I stopped in a turn lane (into a church @ 12am on a Saturday night) to use my cell phone. The ticket still has not shown up and the clerk advised me that the officer has 10 days to turn it in even thought it was typed up which I would assume doesn't require anything to be "turned in" it's electronically submitted, no?
I'm not complaining at this point but this is the second citation I've received that just hasn't shown up and I don't want to send it over to my attorney until I am at least able to view it online.. Wondering if the officer had a change of heart or what? Anyone else had this problems, it's 2009 and it seems like technology is working against us now?

The only thing that worries me is that a friend of mine works for a traffic attorney and she says if you don't take care of a citation they can actually have a debt collector try and get the money from you down the road, which makes no sense to me when I should receive notices about my driver's license being suspended etc.. I just don't want this garbage to show up on my credit report because these morons failed to submit my citations. I'll give it until Friday before I contact my attorney, I'm hoping this officer had a change of heart it was rather ridiculous that I was cited for pulling over to use my cell phone.
