k they are looking for the 09 i want. possibly mid-december if im lucky. but i also have them looking for the exact same 08 so we'll see what they find.

the 4dr went .3 seconds faster 0-60 meaning the new 4dr g37 is faster then the 6mt coupe and did better gas then the g35.

 

thats the sedan, im looking at the coupe 7at which is usually slower. also, epa estimates mean crap. guys on myg37 with the 08s are seeing mid-high 13s though which is an improvement nevertheless.

well id prefer to buy up here since im going there for service but at the same time, whoever gets me the best deal.

09 g37 journey, athens blue, graphite interior, premium, nav, sport, xm, spoiler, splash guards. those are all the things i really want. NO 4was. tech package and all the other stuff is optional. i know they are holding the 09s but the quicker i can get it, the better. also, if they find an 08 i might be interested if its really cheap and the 09s take too long.

update: just came from infiniti this morning. i told them i plan on waiting for the 09s as soon as they get them. i was offered 43,100 for the exact car i wanted except with grey interior instead of black. i turned it down and told them i need the graphite so they said they will get it for sure. once i get my checks in a week or 2 i will go back in for serious negotiations. either way though, looks like im waiting til end of dec or beginning of jan for the car. ill probably keep the rental at $25/day so that means i will be looking to knock at least another $1000 off the price for them making me wait. also i will be contacting lokey and a couple other dealers to see what they can do for me as well.

invoice is only like 36 base, plus the 5-6 im adding in options comes out to around 42k. realistically id be happy with 42 but im shooting for 40.

edit: lol bernard just told me his buddy picked up my car. small world. hope he enjoys it as much as i did.

 

well another boring update: still WAITING...

1) on infiniti to get the 09s, they're saying maybe this friday or next week
2) for both a check AND title (so i can get my 2nd check) from infiniti financial

got an offer of just $500 over invoice for the 09 i want but seeing as they're still holding me up, im looking to do some more negotiating. just sucks waiting because im paying for the rental out of pocket and the holidays are here so thats delaying everything even more. ive already talked to the shops in town and i think ive got everything set-up for the mods i have planned. as soon as i see 1 of the checks, ill start buying ugh.
