I had the Clifford G5 Intelliguard on my 08 Lancer, when i still had it, with remote start. IT served me very well and was very effective when it came to turning on the car. If your case is for wheel theft, im sure you have wheel locks.

In any case, whatever alarm you get, remember 2 things:

Get proximity senosrs. They might be annoying, but it scares most people/things away (that includes cats and ****)

When you get your alarm, DO NOT ADVERTISE IT ONLINE! I have heard many people on different forums get jacked by someone on the forums, just because they announced what type of alarm they had, and they were able to cirumvent it.

Good luck with whichever you get. And if you see them tryign to take your stuff, dont go all Wyatt Urp and try to kick their ***. Call the cops. You dont know whos packin.

they're all pretty much the same since the larger companies are all owned by the same central 1 - dei if i remember correctly. viper 791vx was what i had on my 35 and it worked great.

proximity sensors can be a pain if they go off easy and cause people to ignore them over time. definitely get a tilt sensor - alarms when your car is jacked up to steal wheels for examples. also a glass breakage sensor - inside your car and goes off at loud noises like someone breaking in.

stick with a shop that knows what they're doing, hopefully 1 that has worked on these cars before as the electronics are somewhat complicated.

How about installing a motion sensor light.. No one is going to steal wheels in a spotlight..

I opted for the madmax2000, it came with remote control machine guns that I mounted to my roof, and a flame thrower out of the sideskirts.

In all seriousness, I hope your baby is ok.

In the Miami area, theres a shop on Bird Road and 95th ave called J&R Electronics. They do a real good job there.

Just dotn go to Miami Power Wheels thats right on the next corner. They are the reason why i lost my last car.
