200mph in 1 mile
Cage is done and painted, waiting on my seats, engine is back in the car, waiting on a few little parts, just doing some wiring on new electronics, then doing the body work and final paint.
Mike ive seen beter set ups. Just kidding bro hahaha waiting for the phone call for the bushing install. Also waiting to put on the superbada$$ diff cover. Cant wait bro. Ps the mother in law is intown so my time just got freed up. Oh do you hear that? yup silence but i'll keep listening for the phone to ring. Patiently waiting mike
Had to make new engine mounts these turbos are bigger than I thought they would not fit around the engine mounts and steering column an I finally got the parts to start making the turbo manifolds and I'm still waiting on head gaskets. It seems like all I'm doing is waiting for parts.

These turbo barely fit I don't know how they fit GT35 on these cars must be a different compressor housing or something. I will post up some photos as soon as I get the turbo manifolds done thanks guys
No one uses true GT3582s on a log manifold
You should hit that 800whp goal. XKR did 816DD and then 1006 on the DJ. I did 898DD on the same dyno so prolly closer to 1100DJ
both with not much bigger turbos.

I was looking at photos of XKS build and it looked like he is using a internal wastegates turbine housings with a very restrictive looking log manifold.
We went one size smaller turbo hoping to make up the ground with equal length turbo manifold and a tial turbine housing.
We are also going with two 44mm wastegates for better boost control and to really open up that high RPM horsepower.

I finally started getting some parts in and work is slowing up a little. I will really be pushing to get this car ready for Friday, September 24, Street Legends round 2 track event/car show

New SS valves the oem showed significant heat damage.

Finally got my head gaskets 3 months later

Mid pan wouldn't fit with the Windage Tray

Fixed, nothing a little milling can't take care of

I will post more photos as this project goes on and on

Looking good Mike, who did the head work? Someone local? Also did the midpan not fit the windage tray because it was moved on the billet girdle? Hope everything else is going good, I can't wait to see those monsters in action.
The windage tray is in the same place it didn't fit because the Billet Girdle is thicker/taller than the oem piece. The shop that did the head work is called lake Park Auto Machine call Alan 561.848.6197 It only took them 4 days and it looks great. They took me through each cylinder and vacuum checked them before and after, what a difference.. nice guys.. good price.
