HFC or Test Pipes?

If you are trying to stay as silent as possible then get HFCs. TPs will be louder and may have rasp when compared to HFCs.
Hopefully the HKS won't be too loud for you, it will be louder than stock.

If your concern is keeping it as quiet as possible, get the inner muffler silencers.I have Test pipes on mine and the attenuate the sound to a decent tolerable level, definitely not as loud.. . I think you get the raspy sound with or without the test pipes. What I don't like is the fumes you get in the cabin when you come to a stop and the windows are down..

resonated test pipes arent much louder than hfcs. casually driving, test pipes and hks arent too much louder than stock. its not until im over 3000 that it starts getting loud (though im biased coming from an injen ses). try going through youtube listening to clips or wait til we're together again and gauge the loudness, though i think everyone is pretty much using non-resonated pipes.

I just heard that test pipes would be more loud and raspy compared to HFCs. I am focusing on gains. so the question is will gain more power with the test pipes or HFCs? Thanks for all the replies.
