Any trustworthy non-rip off shop for a turbo install and dyno tune by dade/broward ?

I'm almost ready to boost my G on a single turbo set up... I'm in North Miami and I'm tired of being ripped off by shops and get poor quality work. Does anyone know a good shop that is trustworthy at a reasonable price for a turbo install and dyno tune ? I'm not gonna go crazy in HP ( below 430HP )but I plan on having a car w/ no boost leaks, or any other problems, w/ 93oct gas street tune/ E85 street and E85 strip tune for the occasional track days. Some fabrication maybe required to fit a 30X10.5X3.5 spearco intercooler and a reverse Y pipe to run my true dual exhaust, but most of it will be from the powerlab GT35R kit.
Any input will be greatly appreciate it.

Wow ur fresh here on the g35 with the first post! Congrats!
I got the same turbo kit on 8lbs at 420. Pretty much pointless with e85 right now on stock block (unless u got a built motor which i didnt read right). Danny aka GreenGoblin did my install in broward and i got no problems so far wit anythin concerning the turbo.. No boost leaks or crappy job or any problems whatsoever (btw thanks again D!)... We made a thread over on the member section where u can see the time he took to do the install n how clean n nice everything came out
As far as tuning the car that depends on what ecu u got. I got a haltech n took my car to Japtrix in west palm beach and i've had no problems whatsoever again with the tuning. *KNOCK ON WOOD*
And i personally drive my turbo g35 420/370 ride the way its meant to be. Also do a lot of street racing on okeechobee n 27 a lot. Car hits full boost everytime i turn the car on and i love it... Love it even more that i've had no problems so far.

Thank you very much. You are right I might consider getting better rods and refresh the motor up before the turbo install and tuning, especially if I go E85... Just depends on how much I can sell from my other unfinished project car... ( I have a unfinished dsm project, lots of parts for sale ) And I'll definitely check that up for the G project. I'm looking to use the ecu that comes w/ the kit, the UTEC... but Idk if I should upgrade that as well ? The injectors and pump I'm going big cuz I plan on E85... They still racing on N27 ? That's cool but I got into too much trouble for street racing in the past, and it's gonna so tempting to take the G there after it's done... I'll definitely take it to Morosso tho. Thanks !

Hey and welcome! I will address a few of your questions and ask a few of my own. The Powerlab kit is a very well put together kit, has all top of the line parts.

Your intercooler actually has less surface area for cooling than the one included with the Powerlab kit. Your intercooler is 30x10.5x3.5 which = 913 The Powerlab intercooler is 27x12x4 which = 960. So I would not recommend trying to fit your current intercooler because it will be more costly and no benefit you.

I would suggest going for the powerlab tuner kit which should be everything minus ecu and injectors. You could then spring for a haltech and bigger injectors to run the E-85 in the future. The reason I suggest Haltech is it far superior to the utec, with lots of end user support.

My question to you is what are your future power goals? If they include a built motor and e85 I think the gt37r might be better suited for you.

Pm me if you have any questions.

I'll save up for a haltech and do the gt37r upgrade. The reason I wanted to fit my intercooler is because I already have it and it's brand new but I mine as well get the tuner kit and be done with... I also have a new HAHN S25G turbo to get rid of... Power is very addictive and I mine as well start building it right... thank you very much !

I can't wait to get it done ! Now I just need to work on selling a motor that I have ( mitsubishi 4g63 fully built w/ level 5 head job ) a intercooler and a turbo ( spearco core and a super 25G ) so then I can start on the G project. Yeah a bigger turbo will give more HP on top end but more turbo lag ( w/ E85 might not even feel more laggy cuz it's pushing more air thru the entire powerband ), the lag doesn't bother me at all anyways, I could go even bigger on the turbo like a GT42R but that would be sick... I'd start breaking stuff and gets alot more expensive... The GT37R w/ E85 is a great idea. I can't wait

yea it is.. not sure if u said u were building ur motor but im assuming you will.. that will be the only way to achieve the best results of a gt37r wit e85 gas.. gt42r is VERY hard to fit in our cars.. I only know if 1 person currently running a gt42r on a 350z and his car is sik but its a complete custom job.. Not impossible but tough...

What set of rods should I go with ? I know the rods in the VQ35DE are the weekest... I'm gonna definitely need to change them...
