Sedan Owners or anyone with experience (Danny etc)
I reallly want to but can't right now until I get my D21 back on the road. Where I work floods a lot and ill be DAMNED if I turn my car into an ocean liner. So exhaust and spacers it is for now!!
I'm running the HR Y-pipe and the coupe middy. I got Kinetix HFC's waiting in the garage for some install time. It already sounds mean at throttle. I want the HFCs for that tad extra. But currently not loud at cruise or idle.
Now considering that I'm leaning toward that route (HR-Y / Coupe Mid / HFCs), would I have the same performance give or take a few as I would with a full aftermarket kit like the Stillen, HKS, Fast Intentions, Nismo etc plus save a couple hundred??

I don't know much at all about aftermarket on this car when it comes to exhaust. I'm not so much looking for HP gains as I am sound and seat of the pants oomph. I like the sound I get with what I have.
Do you really care that much about 5 hp. Just get the exhaust and enjoy the tone along with that you get a tiny bump in power. If you are wanting to be smart about it spend very little on NA mods and save up everything for FI. Focus on suspension, brakes, bushings and other stuff till you can save up for FI or engine swap.
Basic bolts ons will get you like 25hp but you might be out $2000. Then you can go a step further and get Tune and cams which might set you back another $2k. you get the gist of it. Just get HR Y, coupe middy and set of ART test pipes v2 or HFC. You will see like 12-16whp out of those mods again not something to brag about.
