G35_TX...you just don't give up do you...why are you so concerned with proving the V1 is better...give it a rest, you're making other V1 owners look bad.
Like someone said earlier, and like I told you several times in the other thread "IF YOU HAVEN"T OWNED BOTH OF THEM YOU HAVE NO PLACE TO SAY WHICH IS BETTER!!!!!!"
Give it up...the polls show that the X50 is winning (By almost double)...which means absolutely nothing to me...I have owned both and from my own comparison I like the X50 better than the V1...unlike you with only the V1...and unlike you I don't need a stupid poll to convince me which one I like better.
The only thing this poll is proving is that your earlier comments on that other thread are garbage and nobody cares. When it comes to performance the 2 are almost identical...its like saying which has better performance the sedan or the coupe.
So give it a f***n break and stop trying to justify your purchase of the V1. If you're not happy just sell it on ebay and buy an X50...most people on here voted for it, so according to your logic "IT'S THE BEST DETECTOR OUT THERE"

Truthfully I am very surprised. Because we usually see the V1 rated the best among the forums. But it does seem the table is turning.
Well, glad X50 has caught up. Remeber the programming on the V1 is many years old and it took this long for them to at least be on par with the V1. Now if V1 will come out with a new update, might make it better again for a few years.
Like I said, I like going by test results on products before I purchase and the V1 at the time and still is has the best test results. Even for tires, performance products, etc I do the same thing for all of them. But for respect for members on this forum, cut with the name calling.

IMO the appearance, size, cost, and operation of the X-50 delivers the biggest bang for your buck all-around. I know there is also many V-1 die hard’s out there and no matter what is said they will never change their mind and that's okay with me as well.
Like the old saying says, "What ever float’s you boat and make’s you happy go for it".
Competition keeps vendors on their toes to continue striving for better technologies and competitive pricing for all of us. If there was no X-50 the V-1 would probably cost even more than it does today.

Yeah, Its true I've owned the G for less than a year, but I've been driving and using radar detectors for a lot longer than that. Another bad argument from you...no surprise.
I don't normally resort to name calling, but you guys keep attacking my comments and then claiming that I said the X50 is best(which I didn't)...you left me know choice. I get impatient when it comes to illogical reasoning and people that are stubborn. I have more experience than you when it comes to this subject on the sole fact that I have owned and tried out both products. Also the fact that I'm a EE helps too
