*Edit Rims, Tanabe NF210 springs, exhaust.

Edit Rims on and 8500k headlight.

With Tanabe NF210 springs, the drop is 1 in the front and 1.3 in the rear. The alignment can back into spec. Magnaflow exhaust on the car (thx G35power for the useful information).

The car look more even with the rims on. The back is not as low as it is with the stock rims. Here are some Kenstyle G35 pics which the rear is lower than the front too.

I always thought they were a misprint...rears are really that much lower than front? Hmmm...

Do you have any vid clips of your exhaust???

I asked the tanabe guys, and they say it is how they design the spring for this car. However, the ride is very similar to stock.

I have an IP gX and was wondering what it would look like with the stock rims on. definitely gonna be doin some rim shopping.

I was wondering, how was the alignment? did you need a camber kit for the rear?

Not a big fan of the stance of the car. Looks like its running up hill with it being lower in the rear than the front... Maybe a ncie wheel setup will correct/hide that? I like the front height, if the rear matched it could be a good option for me. The H&Rs are a bit low for me...

Thats great that you can align it back into spec though. Were you told that, or have you already had it aligned??

Rims!!

Looks nice, but i would have gone a bit more lower on the front and less on the back IMHO. Still exhaust looks nice, and get some rims ASAP!

The rims are on guys.

Hokiesean: I got the car align already, and it is in stock specification. The car look more even with the rims on. I asked the guys at Tanabe about the stance of the car too. The explanation that they gave me is that the new Gsedan rear wheel ark is actually lower than the front so when you lower your car, you can see the different. I gues this is the same reason for the Eibach springs where guys are complaining about the rear is lower than the front.

Thanks crespo...get some tire shine on that rubber though!

I get the differences in fenders...what I don't get is why they would accentuate that difference by lowering the back more. I really just wish manufacturers would come here more often and listen to what people want!

I didn't use a camber kit and its in a good spec.
I'll post the spec up later when I get home.

That's true for the G35 and virtually every single car on the market today. The front wheel well is cut higher to provide more clearance for turning.

With that said, knowing this, why the hell would Tanabe purposely design springs to lower the rear more than the front? To purposely make the car look even more azz heavy than stock? Their explanation makes no sense.

it is so that the car looks more level. overall, the rear is actually higher than the front. plus, it seem that the japanese style with the new g's is to tuck the rears....so they figure the rest of the world will go the same way.
