First RWD

First RWD
Checking in from OK.
Just added G to the stable:
It's in decent overall condition. 140k on the clock. Added new stereo, replaced rear pads and rotors, tightened parking brake, and changed the oil this weekend. Will be putting new shoes on (Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus) tomorrow. First RWD car ever. As you can see (or not), Slowbaru is AWD and 'ol turd is FWD. Good thing our winters are almost non-existent here, and any chance we get snow will entail me taking the G for a doughnut session in an empty lot.
Let me know what else I might need to be replacing at this time. I looked at the rear struts, and the bushing that attaches to the bottom piece looks cracked on both L and R sides. What are these called? Haven't looked at the front suspension yet, but struts/shocks seem to be ok - no excessive roll/bounce.
Thanks!

I got one of the G1W variants. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...3Adash+cam+g1w
Tapped it into the sunroof switch. Red wire for power and ground (black) from the light connector.

It's possible that it's weathered from the inside, but more often than not, the yellowing is just the outer plastic degrading from UV exposure and constantly smashing into bugs and crap. I'd give it a shot before you write them off.
I don't have experience with them, but most guys here say to avoid the aftermarket lights at all costs.
If your OEM lights really are messed up from the inside, I'd keep an eye out for another set of OEM, even if they are weathered, since you can usually polish them out to like new condition.

Did the pass side rear wheel bearing today: https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...ml#post7057248
Also got a new FOB in today. The car is possessed and front windows roll down by themselves... Happened once when I was getting into the car and messing with the old fob, but then it set overnight and I saw the windows rolling down themselves when I woke up one morning. It was a weird watch... Many threads online about this, but nothing conclusive. Checked the wiring to the master switch (driver door), but everything looked clean and there was no water damage around. We shall see...
