But isn't this the package list for coupe you posted? It says intelligent key option (on top of premium package for only $150 more!) comes with entry/exit assist, available for coupe. My coupe has I-key but no assist....

It makes me sad not many more people bought RAS when it was a CHEAP add on from the factory . I wish I had that.

entry assist might be turned off. If you have nav, it's a menu option in there. At least it was on my 06 FX35. Might want to read the user manual.

Where is this menu on a G35?

settings maybe?

My G35 is a 6MT so I have a regular key. The menu is about the same as our old FX35, and our Armada now. You can turn it off, I find it annoying. Could be useful for a large person or a tiny woman that hugs the steering wheel.

If you don't have navigation, then check the manual because I have no clue.

No nav. I've been through the manual extensively, and on this subject it is actually not very helpful...nothing really to indicate whether you have it or not, just an assumption that you do. The seat memory controls do not have an on/off switch like my sedan did; in the end I took that to mean that I did not have the option.

Or a tall older person with weakening knees trying to get in and out of a low seat
