Interior TLC advice requested

I'm looking for some advice regarding a couple of interior issues I need to address on my 2005 G35 6MT.

1. The soft material is peeling away from both my door panels and I need to re-attach it. What's the recommendation for an adhesive that will hold at interior temps?

2. Driver's side seat is torn a bit in the high-wear area. Anything I should do about this?

Thanks,

Wayne

Regarding the leatherette on the door panels, I used "Permatex Heavy Duty Automotive Headliner Adhesive" when I did the backseat panels. It's a thick spray and a pain to do without getting the adhesive where it shouldn't be. You'll definitely need to do some masking. My rear panels were so bad though I pulled them completely off to spray.

For the seat, other than an auto interior specialist I'm not sure what to suggest. It affects pretty much all of the coupes. There was a TSB way back for shaving off some metal near that bolster to somewhat prevent that from happening, but I don't think it applied to the 2005 and later cars.

Im currently repairing the same thing on my coupe. Its the panel on the right rear though. The problem is that the leather dries out and shrinks so it starts peeling itself back. I tried heating it up to soften it and stretch it but it didnt help. So I just applied some super glue to the back of it and pulled it up as much as I can. Its not perfect, but at least its not hanging. Since its in the backseat I dont care about it too much. But maybe ill just replace the whole panel one day.

Oh and my seat is also torn in that same location. A lot more worse than yours. My car is an 05 and I dont think you can find a G35 without torn seats.
