okay...i really don't understand why infiniti can't give you a lock/unlock remote with their loaner car. also whats up with this long clear stick for a key chain? is it like this with every dealer? i mean i know its just a loaner but MAN~ i just can't understand why they can't give out keys with normal looking key chain at least. The other nite i went out to go meet up few of my friends and they saw this long clear stick poppin outta my pocket. They ask "is that bathroom key for gas station in your pocket?" and it was kindda emmbarassing for me to say "no its a infiniti loner car key". so today i just took the key chain off and been carring with out it.. but yea.. just my thought/comment i wanted to share about infiniti dealer..

 

reason for not giving lock/unlock fob: people have stolen/lost/not returned it and well they stopped lending it out.

they also do that at the Acura dealership.

though they didn't give me the long clear plastic thing they gave you.. and i've gotten loaners from Acura quite a few times.

Obviously it makes their lives 100000% easier when trying to keep all these keys separate from each other, and knowing which key goes to which car.

Just take it off while you are using it, since it's just for their use.

 

Key Infiniti in Bluffton, SC gave me one of those huge key chains too, but it had the fob on it.

Haha omg thats freaking hilarious...i never knew that. My loaners are just tags and the key. I got one car with the intellikey but they took off all the stuff and just gave me the bare key. But man yours looks like a freaking gas station bath key. I would really be surprised if someone chained it to wooden blocks

 

That's horrible, that won't even fit in your pocket, hahah. I got a couple loaners from Tustin Infiniti, they give me a regular key chain with like a little plastic thing with some number on it, kinda like what you get with a rental car. Nothing weird like that.

 

mine only had the paper tag part w/o all the plastic..from metro infinti

 

maybe it was a bathroom loaner car thinger....

its pretty baddd... when i drive, **** moves around and bangs on all kinds of places.. even my right leg... arrrggg...
