Damn!!! I was really hoping I'd have my new engine by now. Oh well, I might roll just to **** around. It all depends on what happens with Infiniti and when they decide to give me my new engine.

^^^This guy. Nah, I could smoke a bRuin even with a blown engine.

My engine is burning a ton of oil. They did an oil consumption test and it is burning 1.5 quarts every 1000 miles. They are monitoring my car and if it continues burning this much oil, they are gonna replace my engine with a new one.

Any of you guys going on the 29th? Cal Speedway has street legals on the 2nd if you want a lower elevation location. Limited runs though.

Possibly. It depends on what time everyone is meeting up.

Cal Speedway is in Fontana http://www.californiaspeedway.com/dragway/ Elevation is 1121 vs the 2710 at LACR. It's really crowded on the street legal dates. But track prep is usually pretty good.

like i said in the other thread, im down to hit both fontana and this up as long as this doesnt coincide with my finals..

i'll ask the same thing i asked in the other thread too:

how does that high of an elevation affect your times? (can u accurately convert times to what they should be at sealevel?) also, hows the wind? im not sure if im thinking about the same track but i heard something about lotsa windresistence somewhere.. like strong gusts blowing against the track..

u take out 0.5 - 0.6 off of your 1/4 mile time and add about 3-5mph on ur trap time. This is all depending on weather condition.
If u do mid 14s there with near stock car, then u are in very good shape.

My PB on that track is 14.788 @ 94.496mph

Vinh,

Have you ran your FX with the new setup yet? I ran at Cali speedway for the IDRC fun runs I ran 13.045@109 on street tires. I will be there on the 2nd and I might run at LACR also on the 8th. I think my best there was 14.7 N/A after the correction for the elevation.

The prep at Cali speedway was good last saturday I wasn't spinning much at all.

rookie = Viet.

I ran it last month but bogged hard off the line. Wonderful 2.27 and 2.5 60ft times so they were bad runs. Will be throwing in larger injectors this week and tuning it early next week. We'll have a canopy and stuff if you make it the the 12/c Cal Speedway date, hit me up if you go.

You're pretty dam close to 12s man, keep at it. I was at the LACR car show on Sunday. Why no DRs?
