Fun time! - Great turnout!! It was cool getting props from the announcer: "More Infinitis... man they're pretty fast... ... I love those things!" – that was priceless!!! Hopefully the vid that was taken caught the audio

For those that didn't go (you probably aren’t reading this, 'cause everyone in this thread went)... but anyway, there were 4 coupes (one was ST), 2 sedans, 2 FXs (1 was SC) all in our group - and another stock G coup and a 350Z both on their own, although we were talking with them in line for tech inspection... The stock coupe (Ricardo) works at a performance shop in Rancho Cucamonga that has a dyno - 3 pulls for $45 if we get 10 (possibly a dyno day in the future).

Anyway, temps were real good but the morning had drizzle which caused delays getting started - however, after that the day went pretty smooth... only got 3 runs though. Best ET for me was 14.390 @ 98.13 (hit the rev limiter on all 3 runs, one of those psychological things - the more you try not to the more it happens)... other 2 runs: 14.436 and 14.484 (60’ and 1/8 mile were way better the other night at Irwindale – bouncing off the rev limiter hurt a bit today)

Had a great time, it was fun hanging with everyone! Look forward to doing it again! Rookie! It will be cool to see the JWT TT FX haulin' @ss!!! Next time hopefully!

Exclamation G35 Dyno Day $45/3 Runs w/ Air/Fuel

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and would like to introduce myself. I am the dyno operator at GTR High Performance (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) and would like to offer a G35 Dyno day for those that are interested. $45 for 3 pulls with air/fuel reading and a color printout. If we can gather at least 10 cars or close to it, we can make it happen. GTR uses a DynoJet chassis dyno, which is regarded as the industry standard. I had the pleasure of meeting some of you at the California Speedway earlier today (I have the laser red 06 G35 6mt coupe). Let me know if you are interested.

Was cool to see the people who put their name down to go actually all go. The waiting is horrible but the track is smooth. Hopefully those that had experienced it before hand didn't over hype it for you guys.

Here are the videos from today. They're in the order you guys ran in.

Question need advise

Yesterday was my first time drag racing my 06 G35 coupe 6mt. Only had enought time to get one run in. Looking for advise on what rpm is best to launch at. Had crappy 2.5 60' time (bogged big time). Car is 100% stock and looking to improve before I start adding mods. Thanks!

Damn Rookie,

You had to record my mis-shift run didnt you!

Thanks for all the vids!

I had a great time, although the early rain slowed us down 1 hour and a half.

Sucks for me, because I did much better at Irwindale than Cal Speedway. I was hoping for mid to low 14's, but I just do not have the experience and consistency on my 60ft's to achieve that yet.

Well, looking forward to LACR That's definately going to give me 6+ runs for more experience; hopefully the next time we go to Cal Speedway, I have that 60ft down to less than 2.2 (my best that day was 2.5 @ Cal Speedway, and 2.2 @ Irwindale).

He smashed me

Most likely bolt on or tuned, because although STi's smash almost anyone on the launch, he was pulling away way too fast compared against other STi's and Evo's I've gone against. If I remember, he pulled off an almost 105mph trap speed at high 12's!

Had fun though.
