hmmm... I lost my beach chair and all I have is a folding card table type chair (really would rather not bring it)... how important do you think a chair is? I've never been to this track - is there a lot of waiting other than in line?

 

Just pick up one from Wal mart. Yes there is alot of waiting, a chair will be good so you can wait for your group to be called near your car.

The wait is the 350 cars racing before your group of 50.

The last time I went they didn't have the stands up I guess for NASCAR so there was no where to sit.

I'm prepared this time around.

 

I might leave after my 3rd run depending on how fast the groups are going. Which should be around 1-2pm if there are no problems on the track.

 

I'll see if I can go buy a folding chair tomorrow.

 

3 Runs by 1 pm sounds like a hell of a wait time

I'm definately taking my chair, and laptop.

Hopefully I get 4+ runs, and im good, depending on the wait time.

Although these tracks are great for times, I'm starting to like LACR's emptyness

It didn’t dawn on me that there is a wait for each group - I'm use to just getting the car in line and gradually making my way to staging area... Thanks for heads up.

A friend of mine told me last time he was there he got four runs in 8 hours... he said tech took 3 hours or more.

Maybe we should bring some cards and poker chips... anyone down for some poker?

tomarrow is going to be in high 50s and low 60s at the track. Perfect for the car.

 

yep, relatively cool temps... moderately high humidity though; hopefully that won't present a problem.

 

I'm not gonna be able to get out to buy a chair tonight - and leaving too early tomorrow to have time to get one... someone want to rent me one?...

 

I'll bring a few extra chairs. I have 3 total, wife won't let me take her Spearmint Rhino chair. She says it's for her a s s only.

 

i will bring 3 more.

 

I'm not so certain if I will make it tommorow.

If will do my best, but if not, I will atleast try to give someone a heads up with a call.
