I just read on the CA Speedway website that if you are faster than 14 you need a helmet!... I don't plan to be, but it's not out of the realm of possibilities that others will be - I know Dsskyline will be.

Quote: I thought we had already agreed on 6?

If so, I might be leaving my house at around 5:20. With so little traffic, I might use it to my advantage.

I think it would be a good idea to meet up right before the track to stay together as a group.

.
so meet up at 6am then huh? I have to leave by 5:10 at the latest. I'll leave at 5 just so I don't have to rush and then get nailed by a cop.

Anyone got any good ideas where to meet-up at?

What mods do you have?

I have Stillen CAI w/ thermal coated Z-tube, Stillen exhaust, MD 1/2" spacer & Iso Term kit, TS ECU F-flash, and a few other little tweaks - getting HFC but not sure I will have them before this, and even if I do I won’t be able to get back to TS for re-flash in time... either way I know I won’t be getting into the 13s...

Man... I don't really know the area well enough to suggest a place near there. Looks as though we will all (except Derek) be passing the 57 & 10 to get there… maybe there is a location around that junction?

the 57 and 10 sound a good spot to meet at. maybe there's a gas station there we can get together at a certain time?

Those future mods will definately get you well into the 13's!

Well, not in LACR though

OCG35, you have a coupe or sedan?

I would love to hear the stillen exhaust in person, but I have a feeling you own a sedan right?

I just can't seem to find a G Coupe with a stillen exhaust; better for me

I looked it up on satellite view and couldn’t determine a place off the 10 & 57... I called a friend of mine that knows the area, he said the 10 and Cherry has several places (the track is off Cherry)... attached is a map just north of the 10 off Cherry it looks like there is a parking lot (see arrow)... this is probably as good a place as any. I don’t know what kind of facility it is, but it's got an open lot right off the street.

Does this work for you guys? If so, someone determine what time to meet there.

that works for me! huge open parking lot to bust donuts (i'm kidding lol).

maybe the people that have gone to Cali Speedway determine what time we should meet there? It's my first time there so I'm just a bit anxious!

AT...

Here's the story (in case anyone cares)... I was looking at a 350Z MT or G35 coupe MT - then the company I worked for at the time offers me a regional position in Sac to SF Bay area that required 250 mile commute 2-3 times per week... this coupled with the fact that I needed to accommodate clients forced me into an AT sedan.

Literally 2 weeks after I bought the car I was offered the same position locally (without the commute) and not as much client consideration. So I got stuck with a sedan that I have been trying to make a coupe (so to speak)... Don’t get me wrong - I love the car! As far as sedans go the thing rocks! But when it comes time to get another car it will be a true sports car (unless I have biz needs again )
