CS dragday in oct or nov?

Hey guys let me know if you are interested in doing this one day when it's cooler.

I would rather go in oct or nov when it's cooler and you can get the most out of your set-up with 20 plus runs at CS.

Go to www.alternativemotoring.com to find out more info. Hopefully this will give you time to save up the money it's $100 for 100 cars 8am to 5pm at CS.

Let me know what date would be good if we all decide to go.

Derek

I think this will be good for anyone who likes to drag race if you can take off (the regulars)

I'm down for oct 26th also since I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to attend the street legals.

Remember oct 26th is a friday so you will be stuck in rush hour traffic trying to get there.

I just checked all of the days are fridays well at least you have a heads up to try and take off if possible for some fun!

$100 bucks sounds steep for drag racing. I think CS is taking advantage of the fact that its the only "average" 1/4 mile track around here.

I'll definately be going to the Street Legals in October though

I'd pay $100 for it to not be crowded and to get a good 10 runs in at least. Especially since I will be running with my new set up. I first couple of runs will be just to get acquianted (sp?) with the track before I really open her up and go for it. 2-3 runs will not be enough.

a guy on my350z said that he got in 20+ runs with no wait. I guess you just go up to the staging lanes when ever you are ready.

I also think you can show up any time because your spot is reserved to race.

CS was doing this last year also so it's not because it is the only 1/4 drag strip around now.

Just save $50 a month to attend this in late october for 20+ runs with 80-100cars.

I'm posting this now for interest remember this is 2 months away not next week.

I think it's worth it instead of getting up at 430am to make the cut-off and getting only 2-4 runs for $20 in 6-7hrs.

You bring up a good point

I guess its worth it as long as the whether is great (as compared to $20 for 3 runs in about 8 hours)

The weather should be alot cooler or we can wait until the last day which is Nov 30th.

The guy on my350z (mrtomcat) did over 30+ runs and you have to make it to tech by 12pm to race since you are already registered.

I think the one in Sept might be a little too warm out still to race.

I (we) want the coolest air possible.

30+ runs sounds great ...

I think November sounds more interesting; if im going to pay $100 for dr, I'd rather do it in November (cooler=better). The event seems to be in mid-day, so it can still be a little warmer than wanted in October.

But ofcourse, its all up to you guys to decide. I'm still undecided, but really tempted.

By the way, did the guy say in what length of time he did the 30+ runs?

I'm waiting for a reply on the time limit for the runs.

Nov 30th would be alot cooler, but I don't want run the risk of it getting cancelled due to rain or something.

We would get our money back of course, but we might have to wait until next year when they do this again.

Mike give me a call I need more TB spacers. I have a couple of people interested definately.
