Thumbs up Socal's Summertime Big BBQ Bash!!! Oct 20th!!! Sign up fast!!!

(Props to Artie
(g_love35) for the flier)

Ok, It's finally here!!! Socal's Summertime Big BBQ Bash!!! I know you guys have been itching to showoff your new mods on your rides. Now, here's your chance to show it off to Socal G35 drivers. Let's keep the tradition going down here in Socal!!! We have some HOT HOT HOT G35s and cool G35 owners. Come one come all to Socal's Summertime BBQ Bash!!! Here's the 411.

Location: Mile Square Park: 16801 Euclid, Fountain Valley, CA 92708

Time: 12 NOON (Come early space is limited in the main parking lot. You will have to park further from the group if you come late)

Menu:
Carne Asada
Korean BBQ
Chicken
Chowmein
Fried Rice
Eggrolls (My famous eggrolls...Yummy)
Chips
Sodas
Desserts

Sponors:
There are a few major sponsors to this event and a few pending sponsors. Gifts will be annouced later it all depends on the turn out. Keep in mind sponsors are separate from the BBQ. I asked them for donations to help with the raffle. BBQ is strictly G35 community guys helping with the funds to help us throw this off. Some sponsors might throw in money to help with the event if that's the case we are more the happy to accept funds to help with the BBQ.

List: Updated
Stillen
Motordyne
Southbay Infiniti
Blue_batmoblie
Ultimate Dent Removal
Corner 3 garage
Exclusive Auto Detailing
SurfaceModz.Inc
Nissan Sport Mag & OCG35
Smartwax

Still more to come. Get the list big and more will come...

Rules:
I know everyone hates rules but sorry it has to be done. Big events like this one are the hardest to keep alive if people get in trouble and we get kicked out of the park. Remember the speed demon that got caught at the last BBQ?

NO RACING??? THAT MEANS SHADOW RACING TOO. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO CAN'T READ GET A TRANSLATOR OR DON'T COME...Chris Tucker says it best..."Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?"

NO SPEEDING IN PARK!!!
NO LOUD MUSIC
NO REVVING
NO FIGHTING
NO ALCOHOL
NO DRUGS

Ok, Let's get the list going...Put your name and how many people and if you are eating. Raffles are only given to the people that are part of the BBQ. Those that come to just hang out will not get a raffle ticket.

Pictures from the last event...Enjoy...

Sorry one last thing...G35 only...Due to lack of parking space. I was going to open it to the 350z guys too but due to space I can't. I am actually going to work with the sponsor after this event to find a place where we can have them too. Please do not post on the 350 forum...If there are 350z guys reading sorry man. I am working on another one next time that will have more room for all of the 350z guys.

Updated!!!

Pricing:$15
Parking:$5

OK, Guys and Gals. It's about that time. We need to start collecting money for the BBQ. It would help us out a great deal because I know I'm not rich to front up all the money for the BBQ. Just to let everyone know it costs a lot to do something of this size. We barely broke even on the last event at $15 a head. Reason was because 100 people signed up plus guests and only about 70 cars showed and just about 100 people came. (Including guests)

Here's the lists of goodies from our awesome sponsors...

Stillen: ??? Will be announce
Motordyne: $100 gift cert. (and bottled water donation)
Surfacemodz Inc.: 3 $50 gift cert., 2 roof spoiler, 1 poly urethane grill (Thank you Klumyzee)
Bluebatmobile.net: $75 gift cert for his overlays.
Corner 3 Garage: ??? Will be announced
Ultimate Dent Removal: ??? To be announced
Exclusive Detailing by John: 1 20% off discount coupon for his Detail.
Southbay Infiniti: ??? Will be announced later...

Looks like we are only giving 1 per person. We want everyone to get a prize. It was a little unfair for the rest last time when someone won 2 twice. This time we have limited things to really give out. The raffle is for only G35 members. We are not going to give prizes to guests. We want the G35 guys to have fun and win something. Guests are just guests and they are there for the BBQ which is a separate thing. Raffle was just local sponsors giving us free things for the G35 members. So, we are going to keep it that way. Thanks.

Kurtis will be posting his paypal information soon. Please go ahead and paypal him ASAP. Thank you

UPDATED!!!!!!

Kurtis's post with paypal information.

Who's hungry? We are now ready to begin accepting donations for the October 20th BBQ. As Hai mentioned, it costs a fair amount of coin for us to have this BBQ. It is not a moneymaking venture for any of the organizers. Several of the organizers had to make up the difference in the shortfall of donations to cover all the costs of the last BBQ. Our goal is to break even on the event. That being said, here's how we're going to handle things this time around. Those who donate by the deadline of Friday, October 19, 2007 will receive one raffle entry per donation. Everyone who eats will need to provide a donation of $15. You may choose to pay at the event but will not receive any raffle entries. Oh and BTW for those of you who were freeloaders at the last BBQ (you know who you are), how about you step up and do the right thing this time. It is important that everyone who sends a donation provide the following information. PayPal address is k67p67@charter.net

1) Payment subject line of "BBQ Donation"
2) G35Driver.com screename
2) actual first name
3) first names of all your paid guests

We will create the raffle pool from the prepaid donation list so no need to fill out the tickets like the last BBQ. However, you will need to check in upon arrival at the event. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. We are looking forward to a great event!

Directions here!!!

Please enter at the Euclid entrance. Site 3 is not that far down from the entrance on the left side.

i wouldnt worry about it Marty, David got over the speed bumps at the last BBQ (still scraped) but his car was absolutley dumped. I got over em too without scraping and my car was slammed.

How did that happen? Why don't you get bags? So you don't have to worry about lowering or rasing the car...Your car is show anyways...Coilover is for performance...

Yes, they can...I wanted them to come last time but none of them went...I can't invite the 350z guys but I can invite the FX because there are not that many of them...
