I was coming back from my girlfriends tonight, i normally speed all the time since its around midnight and no one else is on the road. I was on Pomerado, going towards the 15 and 1 light before my turn to go to my house i see 2 cops on either side of the road, so i slammed on my brakes. As i got closer to the flashing lights i saw a bunch of cars stopped on the side of the road, as i passed, i saw 6 cars stopped with people sitting on the curb. They all got stopped for street racing. There was a brand new STI, 300zx, 240sx, 2 other cars (didnt get a good look) and the only reason i'm making this thread is there was a G coupe in the mix as well. It was AB with some 20" chrome wheels, i thought it was pretty ironic that i speed down that road all the time, and this one night, i see another G and he's getting his car towed away and impounded. Sucks for that guy, and if you're on here.. shoulda known better.

how do you know they were street racing? 6 cars being pulled over sounds like some asz cops messing with some guys while they cruise after a meet, a lil quick to judge, unless you saw it all happen.

 

Poway cops don't normally mess with you unless you're doing something illegal... There are some well hidden (business) roads in that area that are notorious for street racing.

 

that sucks. San Diego needs a track.

damn...i do speed on that road sometimes...but damn hella crazy...ive seen alot of Gs on pomorado road...i wonder if there on driver..ive been asking but yea...grant ne free time next week??

 

you know...i think there is a CB coupe with chrome wheels on this forum and in san diego...

They were all ligned up, hoods open with the drivers sitting on the curb. There's normally NO cops in Scripps Ranch, where i live (i see one a week at the most) so they were definitely street racing.

i know this guys. i was with them like 45 minutes before they got pull over. we was cruising around. my friend told me that they got pull over 'cause they were too many together and they look like they were racing. one of the other cars was a skyline that my friend owns. we usually go to the sd gtg. i see you guys there on thursday. i'll try to bring my friends again.
