NOTE: First timers need to pay an instructor fee ($30) which is well worth it.
Transponder to record your lap times is $20 for the day. Insurance does not cover any damage while driving at the track. (Drive within your limits) I am not affiliated with SpeedVentures. Neither I nor they assume any risk by your participation in this event. You assume all associated risks by attending this event.
*First timers will need approval from Speedventures to attend the Sunday event. Friday and Saturday events have the Yellow 'Novice' group, but Sunday does not. The lowest group on Sunday is White 'Intermediate' group.

Wrong pic for the track Jeff. JK!

Car's not ready ... still in the process of rebuilding my race LSD/pumpkin.
I'll still roll out to the track with you (minus my G).

I think a few of Clint's friends might be going on Friday, I probably will stick to Sunday since I have that day off... I will check how much vacation I have and post back...

Peter,
Stock G's perfectly fine to track.

You'll get at least 4 of 20-minute sessions ... should be more than enough to keep you well satisfied.

Hey Peter!

This will be my fifth since April '06. A stock G is 'OK' but you have to be very careful with your brakes, they will faile due to the excessive heat you create at the track. If you go with stock, exit the track the moment you feel any weakness, or just run short sessions so they don't get too hot. The laps depend on the track length, buttonwillow might get about 10+ laps??(per session with 4-5 sessions) I dont know the length yet of Buttonwillow.

Keep in mind most rookies tend to drive well below the limit of their car as they get 'comfortable' driving - gotta bring the car home! Just take it easy and have fun...

Pantablo,
This is my first time to Buttonwillow. I ran the following:
Laguna Seca - 1:58
Horse Theif - 1:05
Willow Springs - 1:49
Spring Mountain - 3:50
(Clint, I think I omitted your better times)
