You guys might want to check out this place http://www.extremesupply.com/ … they have a pretty good selection of bike and auto helmets … I got a closeout m2000 rated pyrotect helmet for $60 and since their not to far I got to try the helmet on before paying.

 

no need for a 2nd one. they supply you with a loaner and you can tear that thing apart lol

I spoke to CA Speedway drag strip dept today...

#1 - confirmed that 12/1/07 is in fact on (I was unnecessarily concerned because of all the other activities going on that weekend with Nissan Sport/Nissan Performance Fest/TT Toys for Tots events going on combined both days)... anyway - Street Legal Drags is on!

#2 - confirmed that BBQ/Smokers (even trailered) are OKAY!!! The only contractual rule is that they have a vendor agreement for concessions so no one can set up "tents" or "booths" and sell... But Lawrence (RedSkylineGT) can fire up his smoker and make some A$$Kickin' BBQ for private group!!!! (it was noted that offering to event staff would be nice... hmmm we'll see if they run it better than in April).

Anyway - are you guys down for having Lawrence do his thing?... It's going to be difficult to determine numbers (how many to feed)... but I will cover all sides: Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Coleslaw - and all utensils: Plates, Napkins, Forks, Knives, Cups - and help cover cost for Lawrence’s time and grub... Just need to know who is interested in this idea and who wants to pitch in for Lawrence’s fee?... Not sure what that fee is until we have an idea how many. Also need a volunteer or donations to cover drinks, cooler & ice.

I will PM Lawrence to give him the thumbs-up/heads-up… and try to get an idea of cost… I figure 10 on the high side, but who knows?… that’s why I’m starting this here. I will post a specific thread when we get an idea here… also, do you guys want to invite 350Z and/or FX?…
