alright guys - whomever doesn't have my number yet, it's 323-767-3872.

Hit me up if you're running late. I'll be at IHOP before 5. If nobody's there by then, I'm gonna order me some breakfast

Well, if the weather in Fontana was anything like it was here you probably had a late start due to track prep from drizzle - but it was overcast here all day so the temps stayed relatively cool (70-75)... hopefully it was like that for you guys.

I slept in and it was GREAT!!!!!

So - last runes are probably ending about now... looking forward to hearing/reading how it went!

BTW – I went out to run a few errands and took the G (it’s the only time I get to drive it)… and no lie, almost every light the tires were chirping… I don’t mention this for any reason other than, they don’t do that unless I’m real aggressive – today it was like the car was telling me it wants to be at the track… weird huh?…

Edit: the tire chirp was way after morning drizzle so it wasn't wet traction...

14.2 at 96 mph, with 2.1 60ft and shifting on 7400 rpm on the tach.
I lost 2 mph and but due to my decent launch i got 14.2. Later I messed up on the launch but shifted 6600 on the tach and my mph jumped to 98 but my time was 14.40 due to the 2.3 60 ft.

Next time when i go next year im gonna buy to tickets and run every other group.

I'm kinda surpriced your MPH is so low compaed to the E.T.

If I recall, I was hitting 95-96 during the last event, which was at 104 degrees!

Nice E.T though; with better temps & more runs, you will definately be in the 13's. Not to mention, maybe more mods?

^the main reason is the rpm i was shifting at, Last run i when i shifted at 6600 rpm through all gears that was a 14.00 run but i messed up on the launch. If i had 2.1 launch like the first two runs and shifting at 6600 rpm my guess is it would be 14.00 at 100mph. No point to take the rpms to all the way to 7100 rpm. After 6200 rpm the car loses power and 6500 rpm shift would be perfect as i proved my self on the last run. Just shifting at 6600 rpm instead of 7100rpm the car gained almost 2mph.

There is an experiment that im thinking about doing tomorrow on my car. I wanna take each gear to 7100 rpm and 6600rpm (no necessarily flooring it) and find out, when u shift, what rpm the next gear lands and compare those rpms with the dyno sheet i have and find out which would yield more area under the curve. According to the drag results from today 6600rpm shift should yield in more area under the curve.

14.2 - very nice Vlad! 2.1 60' at Fontana is extremely successful!!!

Did they have to multiple prep in the morning?... I didn’t read everything ion the above posts...
