Hey Ted nice meeting you, had a great time. Got in 5 runs with a best of 8.6 for the night. Weather was good and even though i was doubtful of the 1/8th mile, i had fun

very nice... are you going to CA Speedway (1/4 mile) on Sat 12/1?... there is a sign up list on the thread regarding the previous CA Speedway event.

Did you run against Ted? Was he squeezin’?...

 

I can’t go to CA speedway on 12/01…sucks thought with the BBQ you guys are planning and all that . I did run with Ted but he unhooked his nitrous bottle before coming to the track.

 

got some pics of the night... but wound of catching a cold (was already feeling the headcold at the track and King Taco's hot salsa roja didn't fix it as I'd hoped)

Best I ran was a 9.3 (on 19's, NA). Although I did squash a mustang 5.0 a couple of times. On the way back on the 2nd (i always keep my window down to hear the comments from the guys standing on the fence) I heard someone say, there goes that pony killer made me smile, even if it wasn't a 1/4 horse.

I was using the night mostly to test out the tranny upgrade.. and it performed flawlessly. Me likey likey like it.

Good to meet you Phillip....nice guy - it's not everyone i hand the keys to should we share our ultimate VDS hack with everyone, or wait for the next track day and put some $$ or beers up for stakes?
