Haha, I'd be embarrassed if that were the case for me. But then again, its usually people trying to go down the 1/4 mile with 245 street tires that spin down half of the track

(... or they need to learn how to drive, or live in CA and ran at the usual 90+ degree weather on our beautiful 1/4 mile tracks )

Boost both of them

LS1 is ***** **** for nubs who dont know anything about rotary.

Do a motor swap with a JDM 20B motor and boost that.

My friend Chris is pushing over 1.300 RWHP and 1,000 RWTQ.
His car was also made by the guy who made the worlds fastest rx7 but in a rx8 body.
But 20B motor is the way to go. LS1 is for nubs lol

I was in the car with him when he smoke a LP640 like no other lol

I'll still take an LS1 swap haha, rotary's can be sick, bout you REALLY need to know them inside and out to have it run reliable, especially boosted

How is an LS1 for "nubs"?

It is a light, very potent engine that can produce great reliable power. I've never liked rotary engines nor do I plan on ever owning one. Nothing wrong with them, but its not for me.

I never understood the hate on LS1 swaps for the RX7. It's usually from the hella-jdm folks who despise anything domestic.

He is a Asian guy and when he see's people putting LS1s in RX7's he laughs. Thats an easy way out. You dont put an ameircan motor in a Japanese car. Thats why its for numbs, because thats an easy way out.

He is putting upgraded turbos in his car soon and it he will pushing 1,500+ now.
20B is a lot better but the only reason why people dont get it is cuz its hard to find and a little illegal lol
Plus is lighter than an LS1. I'll ask him to come to the meet one day.
