Guys help me out real quick. I am in the market of a new camera. I need a good one that can exchange out lens for more photograph purposes. Mostly I'll be shooting cars and some other nature photograph. Any help is appreciated. Price range would be no more than $500 for the camera itself. I heard a lot of good things about Nikon D40, but its been a while and I would like to know if there's anything else that came after that's better than that. Thanks!

If the budget's tight, I'd look for a used D80 body only (or even better, a D90) and go with a 50mm f/1.8 for now. If you're for sure shooting mostly cars (and nature, I guess) wide angle lenses are more ideal. Kit lenses can cover many situations, but not as adequately as pro glass can. Look into a Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8 or a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 later down the line.
Just my $0.02.
P.S. Sup my SoCal 818 Meet buddies!
