Depending on several factors, I'll try and make it, but I would only be able to stay for half a day at most.

Unless you already have a premade bracket for a projector, I wouldn't try a projector retrofit in a day. I've done it before, but it's not fun working at that pace. It would be easy to do a clear lens swap and color mod. I have a PC power supply that's rigged up to power HID ballasts, and I have a bunch of 300zx clear lenses. (though those lenses are about $100 a pair as a going rate). You could also do LED mods. I buy my LED strips from oznium.com, and it's easy. Just solder on a + and - wire.

Whats up Albert, glad to see you surface again after the new baby . Hows everything?

Are brackets needed for TSX projectors? How do i go about making one, whats the best material to use? i could try to get that knocked out of the way before the mod day

I need you for the color mod Free lunch if you make it!

Baby is up all night. You can see that my first post was at 3 am. Just woke up now.

I figure that you have a G35 sedan. Are you putting the TSX projectors into the low beam section, or fog light section? I know that there's very little room in the stock low beam section. For a bracket, you could either use your stock reflector, or make one out of sheet metal.

Here's how I mounted the TSX projectors on my own car's retrofit using the 03-04 HID reflector from the coupe.

Sounds like the baby is putting you to work bro

I see what you did, that looks to be a great option. you just dremel out a hole to fit the projectors in and secure it with the bolts on the projectors correct? I do have a sedan and I'd like it to be in teh low beam section but I know S2Ks projectorshave been successfully mounted to TTRANK's lowe beam section, I hope TSX projectors will fit. Were you going to sell me your shroud/bezel you had laying around or should I just find some online? I dont care about teh condition I am going to paint them black anyway.

can you briefly explain the "color mod"? thats that line of bluish color along the cut off right?

The shrouds I have are for 3" projectors, and TSX is 2.5". But I can bring them for you guys since I don't have any use for them anymore.

Color mod is simply adjusting the spacing between the lens and the cutoff shield to achieve the best mix of sharpness of the cutoff line with blue/purple color. With the projectors powered up, you can find that exact balance in a few seconds, and then add the appropriate amount of washers to keep that spacing intact.
