Meet 12-31, sorry can't make this one.

I have a coolant leak, so with my scheduled events and Santa to pay this fix will have to wait. So this event and the Tour d' Orange on 1-1-11 is a bust for me.

Take care all, & have a wonderful holiday season.

Meets are more about meeting ppl than they are about parading your car, that's what shows are for.
The last 3 ppl I met with lambo doors were all pretty cool, my age or older (30+), and yes Ron was one of them (unless you are in your late 20's lol).
I think Dre just wants to go somewhere to drool at cars rather than meet other enthusiasts and learn a thing or two.

That pretty much means no ricer kids. Guess he failed to see this part.

I'll make it to this meet once in a while. Especially once I get my ps2 project completed.
Just a bit far for me. I only live a couple blocks away from the 190th and Anza meet.

Well my blood doesn't clot, I have to take an intravenous medicine for the rest of my life, and my feet hurt on a daily basis.
Besides that I'm fine
How are you?

Just had to put in a good word for Ron, he's a cool guy and one smart ****.
Definitely worth meeting him and picking his brain for knowledge

well then I don't see why you had to come in and make a stupid comment like that. The issue was resolved so long ago and for you to bring it up and at the same time throw in an absurd assumption just makes me wonder if you got really nothing better to do with your time. I mean seriously get over it

I'm sure the meet the is fine and dandy and as a matter of fact was planning on coming down (ask johnny) but can't drive my car for a few weeks

Just had to put in a good word for a good guy. I'm sure you would do the same, maybe differently, but the same.

Nothing wrong with putting in a word for a good guy I can respect that but making unnecessary assumptions about someone else doesn't really add to your credibility

All your posts here are about asking if ricers are gonna be there (and assumptions thereof).
Maybe you should look back at all your posts in this thread. Looks like you care more about avoiding rice (which are prevalent at ALL car "shows" btw) than anything else (it was your only concern actually).
Which is what I based my post on. If you were trying to present yourself otherwise, it wasn't working very well.

yah I made valid assumptions about a meet after seeing a car with lambo doors. Those assumptions were based on the fact that 9 times out of 10 when a car has those kinds of mods the person ends up being a ricer and completely kills the meet. My question was simple and along the way was answered. I care about going to a meet and meeting great people and seeing great cars. But your assumption that all I care about is going to a meet simply to drool over cars and not learn anything wasn't really based on anything but some kind of stereotype you have built up in your mind. As a matter of fact all of the meets I have been to in the past have been mostly about hanging out with new people and talking about their cars. The learning aspect was always present. I wasn't trying to present myself in any other way than my posts have been written. If you or anyone else got butthurt when reading them then sorry that's your problem. I have met plenty of people whose cars I personally do not like but the people themselves have been great people. So once again I would be more careful about making assumptions.

Alright this has gone far enough, no need to further clutter the OP's thread

OP I wish you the bestest of luck to your meet hopefully it grows large and attracts many great people

On-line.

I'm up and back on-line. I fixed the leak and it was not as bad as I had first thought, just a thermostat housing gasket and a system douche . My first fears were a head gasket (bad for fi motors). So I'm very very pleased the outcome was better than expected, I found the leak with my nose, it's such an ugly smell. So I will try to deal with some of my trust issues with the POLICE regarding holiday travel, and make it out to see everyone at Westside for the last meet of 2010.

Take care all and have a wonderful new years.
