OK. I have been talking to some of the guys about a golf tourney & meet at Scholl Canyon G.C. where I work as a Golf Instructor in Glendale. The date will be late April or early to mid-May, TBD. Most likely on Saturday afternoon, but could Sunday also. All will be welcomed, other cars, friends, family, kids etc... I may combine this with a charity so we can help others while having fun. I may setup a clinic before the event with all the proceeds going to charity. We most likely have blocked off parking, and we can add other stuff such as lunch/BBQ, raffles, drinks etc...

UPDATE 3/29/06: Good news, it appears that we may be able to get the twilight rate without any charge for a tournament. That would be $25 per person for golf and cart. That price would not include any lunch, drinks raffles etc.

Please reply 'interested' and you may add any options you may want me to consider such as:

-specific date
-w/ lunch/BBQ
-w/ drinks (I will have to negotiate this)
-w/ prizes/raffle
-promoters/sponsors? I dont know any. Maybe that would make a better meet?
-I encourage any other good suggestions to make a fun day of golf and G's

NOTES:

For anyone interested, I got the price down to $25, and if it is only 1 or 2 groups (smaller) I may be able to get a lower price ($25-$0) because it does not restrict the golf course from selling to the general public. So ANY interest in a Golf n G meet just make a post...
