Hill Country Cruise

Sounds like it will be fun, nice little cruise. Seeing if any other G's were planning on going.

This looks like alot of fun. I will be in Austin on the 22nd, but my brakes are shot and I would not want to go all out like on the Ragin Bull Texas Stampeed. I will just have to sit this one out. My Wilwood BBK is on the way, along with the rear SS brake lines. When I get the brakes upgraded, I'm ready to play with the Lotus.

Has anyone thought of just doing a G-Run..I see lines of Corvette's almost every weekend..I saw a Pontiac GTO run on the road not too long ago..they all looked pretty kool going down the road when it's all the same cars. Where's the G-Run. I see the NorCaL\Florida\Hawaii Meets..how bout TX?

There is no way you could do a RBTS type run this time of year. The hill country is PACKED with people. That's why the Bull run is done in January.

You can cruise, with occasional sprints, but not an all out "***** to the wall, petal to the metal" run like the Bull.

1) Scout's right. Way too many peeps in the Hill country where all the cool roads are at the moment, unfortunately.

2) 100F+ heat will certainly make you run with an air conditioner on... not something you want when you're looking for top performance on runs like we do on the Bull.

I'm sure something will come up this fall which is right around the corner, right turk?

.... boy do I need some new shoes before it does....

I'm still hoping for a G meet to happen here in Austin. It's always in Houston.
By the way, I purchased a Chrome Z Tube for my '04 Coupe but did not like the way it look like. It's brand new, does anyone need it? Email me at session_road86@yahoo.com

the hillcountry drives are held every month. many exotics and high end cars show up. it's sort of a wanna-be gumball rally through a designated area. high ends, exotics, and performance cars show up and show off. then drive all out to the end point.

300HP/300ft-lb stock. mine's still 99% stock so should be over that some. short ram intake, adjustable bypass valve, 3" turbo back catless exhaust are all I have for now
