Anyone go to the Chrysler driving event in Hou?

I heard about this event Friday afternoon and thought it was worth a look. It's at the Sam Houston Race Park (Houston) today and tomorrow. I went early this morning and drove a few SRT8's. They only gave you two tickets to drive SRT cars. A pro driver sat in the passenger seat and made sure you didn't get too crazy. It's not like you could, they built the tracks small and tight so you could hardly get a feel for the power. I was disappointed with the performance. With 420hp, I thought these things were going to scream. It felt like they were being held back and there was a little throttle response. One of the highlights was the pro driver for the 300c SRT8 was Verena Mei - a very cute pro drifter w/ a twin turbo 350z. She was extremely nice so it was kind of distracting talking to her and trying to drive the wheels off the 300c. I'm sure that's part of Chrysler's plan to keep guys from trashing the car.

I wish I could of driven the Jeep SRT8. It sounded mean but I figured the Charger and 300c would be better drivers. It seems stupid too limit the srt drives to just two vehicles. It's not like Chrysler's and Dodge's are all that. Last week, I could drive cars twice as expensive as much as I wanted and the Lexus event.

Another small highlight was a burnout/drift demonstration with the Viper and Viper truck. You can't drive those cars so that obviously sucked. All the other cars are so meh that I didn't bother driving them.
