I could be wrong, but I just don't think eliminating front plates will comprimise our safety or interfere with police work. A lot of money can be saved that could be used to put more cops on the street. Cars would look better and people would drive slower to admire them. lol - yeah right!

Anyone can sign it, I hope it passes this year. I heard the only reason it didnt pass last year waz cuz it got dumped with a bunch of other b.s. House Bills and the legislature didnt have the time to deal with all of it.
p.s. I dont have a plate, and I dont plan on putting one on. I have a Stillen adapter in the trunk in case I get pulled over-"But officer I was just returning from the store after I purchased this new adapter thingamajiggy-doohickey"

I've never had mine on, no problems so far.
it's was up to 17,943 when I signed it. I got a ticket for this yesterday (I guess I had it coming) , does anyone know what the procedure is for this ticket? Do I just show up to court and show them that it's installed and pay the $80 fee?

Sorta like inspection. The fine is like $165, if you get it fixed and show before the date due it's like $20.
Just do what another guy said, velcro it to the front. Then go home and take it back off...
Just got pulled over in my MRS for no front plate. He wrote me a warning... Now that I wrote here that cop will probably see me again and write me a ticket this week...

I can't bring myself to drill holes in the front bumper of my G, so I guess I'll just take my chances. Besides a license plate on the front bumper will hurt my drag coeff,

I was pulled over for a missing front plate in my truck by DPS a couple of years back. I was very polite and the officer just gave me a verbal warning. I don't think it's that big a deal, I see a lot of vettes without front plates.

Most of the time you can just hang a plate on, take a pic of it and go to court. It should be dismissed but sometimes they tack on a little something for their trouble. After court just take it back off.
