Won't help me. I just drilled and added the plate. Now it covers the holes.

I'm not from Texas, I am from Boston and I can tell you it sucks. When I had my SI I just left it in the window still got posted a few times but I think it should be banned. I'm with you on the no front plate on the car everywhere!

Don't you think that's kind of important information to know/have? If it requires 20k signatures, you're almost there and that tends to get people excited. If however you need like 100k signatures.... you have a LONG way to go.

And if you don't know how many signatures are required, how then do you even know that getting a petition is going to work and get the legislation to consider it?

I'm certainly not slamming you.... but these are valid questions for someone who has signed the petition. I want to know where and how my vote will be used and if it was a waste if my time or not.

Talk about a waste of time. It took longer to read your post than it did to sign the petition.

I just bought some suction cups with little hooks on them and used 4 of them to hang my front plate in my windshield. I got stopped and I explained that the law states that you must have front facing liscense plate. It never says anything about being on my bumper. The cop aggreed with me and let me go.

That sh*t doesn't fly in houston. They write you up if its not on the front bumper. Matter of fact, if they see em in the windshield, you get pulled over....so I just don't roll with one on.
