I would be going with you Andy, but I have a 2200 mile road trip in store. First we are going to drive to Destin Florida and stay on the beach for 1 week. Then the trip gets interesting! We drive from Destin to Asheville North Carolina. Mountain driving! We are going to stay most of the second week in Asheville. The drive back takes us through the national Forests of the area: Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cherokee National Forest, Chattahoochee National Forest, etc. The road map shows twisties all the way thru the mountains! Too bad the G will be in the garage. We are taking the new Honda Accord.
32 miles per gallon on regular gas!

Imagine that! Where in Destin are you going? We stay at the Crescent Condos at Miramiar Beach,.......where the girl was eaten by the shark 2 years ago.

 

yikes, we're gonna stay at the holiday inn right on the beach next to sun destin....we go every year and have always stayed there

 

Talk about a thread hijack! I know where you are staying. We stayed at the SunDestin once. So far the weather looks like it wont ruin my week there. Two years ago we went and it rained every day. Mirimar Beach is about 5-10 miles east of where you are staying. I'm ready to go!DOMO
