Texas Scout,

I signed up yesterday and I am #24 on the registrations confirmed list! Looks like we might be the only 2 G35s going. I looked at last years pictures and there were 3 IP G35 coupes in the group! This will be my first time and I am looking forward to it. I'll be meeting up with you guys Friday evening at the hotel.

Looks like it's going to be a blast!

Man, I've been wanting to try this run out....The last good run I had was the Brazos run with Cato and Turk...but I'm not as fast a driver as those two...They may remember that I was near the back of the bus. HAHAHAH

I'll check my schedule and try to make it.

Nope.... All slots are taken. Email YoungTurk and see if anyone canceled. He even opened 5 extra this year and they all filled up in like a week this time.

I'm in. Needed to make sure the Fuji emblem crowd had more support.

Not going to make it for Friday, but I'll be there bright and early Saturday morning through Sunday.

Plan on bringing my 40D as well.

Course, I just cracked my email open this morning and it looks like the event may be rescheduled because of the expected dismal weather this weekend.

Feb 8-10 looks like it may be the next "uneventful" day in line, considering Super Bowl weekend and Valentine's day are in short order in the coming weeks. He's taking a poll now on who can and can't make the weekends in the coming days, so maybe it's worth trying to get in, Cato. Never know who may not be able to make a rescheduled date.

Well I can probably gurrantee he will probably lose about 25% of the registrations due to rescheduling. I know my friend now can't go.

Every year we have a threat of bad weather, and it almost has to get rescheduled or it does. This is really a bad time of year to have this event. Jan and Feb are the worst in Texas for this type of weather. He really needs to change the date completely for next years.

There are more reasons to reschedul it this time of year.

NO BODY ON THE ROADS!

No farmers
No Tourists
No LEO's

That is the MAIN reason.

Can you imagine trying to drive like we do in the dead of summer?

I have been on many cruises and there isn't a issue with traffic in the hill country usually. This time of year is just not a good choice anymore. March/April isn't summer.
