I am sure there will be cancellations, so you would be able to get in that place.

I just talked to YoungTurk, and the event is BACK ON! The weather is clearing up a bit. He will be sending a email shortly.

Yup, just read that it's on again at the moment. Until we have forecasters with crystal *****, it'll be an inexact science at best.

Aside from that, I'd much rather have it this time of year for the lack of "obstacles" mentioned above in addition to that nice, cool, compressed o2 that we get a little performance bump from.

Chaos, it's worth sending him an email to see if anything's opened up. go to rbtexasstampede.com to get his email addy.

TexasScout such a drama boy. :P

Guys, my friend Gilbert that had the 2000 Sentra has backed out, due to being very sick. So there is one spot that opened up.

That just sucks, I hate anyone to miss this. But the flu is running rampant in Texas right now.

I was coming down with something yesterday, and got home and took some left over Z-Packs and Claritins, and went to bed early. Feel much better now......

Thanks!
Looks like it was pretty wet! We had pretty good weather here in Houston over the weekend?

What an awesome experience of man, machine, and Texas roads it was. We had a diverse set of machinery of 26 cars including two G35 Coupes, one G35 Sedan (texasscout, of course), several 350Zs plus two 300ZXs, a Lotus Elise, BMW M5 and 335i turbo, Porsche 930 Turbo, Honda S2000, three Corvettes, and VW GTIs. Our adventures covered 748 miles in total. Pictures from the Stampede can be viewed here.

To get the best tour of the event, I suggest you click on the first thumbnail and then click on the 'Next' button to advance to the next picture. The pictures are in chronological order for the most part.

Enjoy!
