anyone know of a place or anyone who can do a real nice job on getting the orange blinker out and replacing it with a clear piece in Houston?

 

It sure would be nice if somebody locally could do it. I am very interested in clearing mine out.

me too, what side of houston are you from? maybe we can work on it together if i'm feeling risky enough, hehe, there's a DIY guide, but man im scared, the guy said it took 15 hours to do his... so i don't know, would be nice to see other houston owners clearing out there headlights also...

 

Would be nice to see other g35s in houston and the mods that other have done....

 

i just ordered mine and i heard that it only takes a couple of minutes. hmm...i'm thinking about doing it myself. i'll let u guys know after i do mine.

I am based out of New Orleans, LA

Opening and sealing the lights is no problem for me I have lots of experience with IS300s, GS300s, 350Zs, etc. doing Custom Housings Painting, Demon Eye Installs, Retrofits, etc. (literally hundreds of lights)

I have done some G35 headlights too...

A Demon Eye kit will be coming out for the G35 soon so you guys may want to wait a few weeks before opening your lights

those look nice, those projectors? if so how does HID look with them? are those real HID projectors or just regular halogens? also how much would it cost for you to clear my signal lights? I would like to get this done... wish you were closer, new orleans is far...

 

They are Dual 90mm Hella Projectors.

If you are interested in getting Demon Eyes Pre-Fab units will be available with DEs installed and Clear Signal Lenses.
Pricing will be fair also, but your old headlights would have to shipped back as cores.

i don't really care for the demon eyes, but i would like my g35 coupe lights like the ones you've posted, with projectors and cleared out signal lens, let me know how much this would cost...

 

The Hella projectors are $249 a set wholesale, I charge $28/ hr for retrofit labor

Appox 2-3 hrs. per lens.

The lower high/ fog beam requires a Bi-Xenon relay which runs about $150 extra. That is not a xenon light anyway so the results are not as dramatic as the actual low-beam xenon light and I would only advise doing (the high/ fog beam) if you want to spend the money to get the dual projector "look".

Housing painting is a flat $165 (JDM stlye flat black show in the pics) I can color match anything you want including OEM colors.

Clearing the lens would be like $19 if done at the same time (since the lights will already be open).

is $249 meaning total of 4 projectors? 2 on each side? do you think you can post any pics or video of how the lights would look at night and day time, I want to see if it has that flicker effect like on the s2000 where at a certain angle it looks more bluish etc...

so can you tell me the total, i want to clear my signals, and retrofit the projectors, but i want to leave my housing the factory chrome, don't want it painted... so how much would that cost and how long would it take? if its a good price and doesnt take too long, i might take a drive to new orleans and get it done and drive back the same day... please let me know...

also when you clear out the signal lens, do you replace it with a clear piece or just leave it like that? i would prefer to replace it with a clear piece, dunno if you have access to some fabrication shop that can mold one... let me know please, thanks...

 

These are 90mm Hella lenses, the exact ones used on the 5-Series BMWs, just look at one oncoming to tget the Idea how it would look.

$249 is per set of projectors (2) they retail at over $1,000 a set!
