Great experience at Sewell Infiniti (Dallas, Tx)

I have a 2004 g coupe. I initially took my car in to get the oil changed, seat belt retraction fixed, passenger visor light, and tranny popped out of 2nd twice in the past 25k miles. Troy Dunn my service adviser told me he would look into it. I really didn't think anything was going to be done about the tranny cause it can sometimes be really hard to replicate.

Being a former Crest Infiniti customer since I bought car with 10k, I was very disappointed with their service and attention to detail and the run around that I got with their service manager. They were also trying to sell me their extended warranty for 2800 bux that was a third party warranty and wasn't even offered through infiniti while I was still under the regular warranty.

is a reason why I went to Sewell. Their service has been impeccable from the first day I took my car in.

So, Troy gave me a call following day saying that they got it to replicate, long story short... They replaced all of the problems including putting in a new tranny. The car feels like a brand new car. I have 58k and I don't ever remember the car shifting like it did even when it had 10k. The car acellerates like a bat out of hell. I also don't hear the tranny noise after I shut the car off like I used too. I think it is bullsh!t when the dealer tells you that the sound is normal.

I was thinking about selling the car before I got the tranny replaced and buy a 911 turbo, but I'm thinking about keeping it a bit longer.

I would recommend Sewell to anyone. I had a nice clean loaner, Had no complaints what so ever. the tranny was replaced under the powertrain warranty the other problems were covered by the 90k extended warranty that I have for the car cost $2300 and it is a official infiniti extended warranty. My car isn't stock it has ce28n's, exhaust, blitz intake, jic y-pipe and tein suspension, evo front arms and stillen rear arms.

Thanks Sewell!!!!

wow that's awesome. I bought my car from Sewell and was very happy with my purchase. You should make it out to some of our monthly meets. There's a mod meet tomorrow actually. Check the DFW subforum here:

Good to hear you had a positive experience at Sewell...means that is worth the trip. I had been going to Crest for warranty issues and the service manager pissed me off to no end. He is extremely rude and an a-hole. I felt bad for my service advisor. After filing a complaint with the BBB, I was able to talk with the service director who sent me a check for tire they damaged. Unfortunately, that lard *** service manager is still there so I will never step foot in that place again even though it's just a few miles from my work.

Excellent news. I bought my car several years ago from Grubbs and, the buying experience along has put me off from ever walking in to the dealership ever again. They didn't even bother to wash my car, it had 5K on it and had a tag that oil needed to be changed at (8,900 miles), when I changed it myself I could see the oil had never been chaned, ever. The Finance manager tried to muscle me into doing the financing there and all sorts of extended warranties. Guess I know where I'll be going to if I need any dealer work on my car. Thanks.

I can vouch for Sewell's quality standards.. I used to work at Sewell Village Cadillac some years ago, and they prided themselves on customer service.. They actually realized the cars sell themselves, but what makes people come back to your dealership over others is the experience and customer service..

My old service adviser's name was Travis. He was an excellent adviser. Well Travis was promoted to the service manager. I think they made an excellent choice. So Travis recommended me to Troy.. They are all good at customer service. Crest pissed me off so bad I had to call Infiniti headquarters, to help me and they said that it is up to the service manager to approve or approve the repair and claims about your transmission. The service manger of Crest declined pissing me off royally Losing me as a customer 1 year ago I vowed never to go there again. I used to work at Courtesy Nissan in the parts department my old parts manager told me to take it to Sewell cause of the customer service. I think I made the best choice..
