Those darn rattels

Hello Everyone,

It has been quite a long time since I was in here. Its called moving and taking this stupid G35 sedan back to the dealership for about the 20th(+) time.

I've had to call Infiniti Corporate about the stupid noise. West Houston Infiniti fixes it BUT, it always comes back. This last time, they pulled the dash out of my car, padded it and placed it back in. When I got it back, I drove it for a full two days and, of course, it all came back. Infiniti corp called West Houston about my car. They advised corp that I should try to take it to another dealership for them to inspect it and see if they could solve it. Thet also advised corp that rattels, and such things, happen in every car. Well, I am sorry. It does not happen in ever damn car. I told Infiniti corp that I will contact Road & Track, Car & Driver and you folks. I also told them that I would go to my fathers Ford dealership and ask him who I should advise how Infiniti Corp or West Houston Infiniti does not give a damn about pleaseing a customer.

I've had this car since mid December '02. It only has 13,500 miles on it. Does that tell you about anything? It was spent a months worth of time @ West Houston Infiniti (not at once).

Any ways, I am sorry if I sound harsh but Infiniti has pissed me off a little too much.

Yell at me if you wish. It's not going to bother me one bit.

Sorry to hear about you bad experience. My 2003 Sedan
has 44,000 miles on her and West Houston Infiniti shook all
the rattles out. I am enjoying my G35 more each day. When
I get the Stillen sway bars installed, this car is gonna rock!
The longer I own it, the more I love it.

2003 TwBlue 5AT Sedan, sunroof,
Graphite Leather, splashguards, HKS muffler,
14 wire Grounding kit, 350Z duct, Stillen HF/AB
Underbody rear diffusers, Drilled alum pedals

I feel your pain. I had to bring my car in 5 times for rattles and it still rattles...I just deal with it. It seems to becoming from everywhere. Like i mentioned on other threads...this is my BIGGEST complaint about the car, but then again, maybe you and I got the rattlers.

Well, the dealership is NOT trying very hard at all. They are pulling the door panels of and trying to fix the issue in the door frames. That is not where the problems are at. All they need to do is pull the door panels off. Then, remove the thick noise reduction cover off and that is what causes the rattels.

I guess that is too easy to do. It would cause the dealership less frustration of the rattel and make us happy so we would not have to bug them any longer. Again, its one simple thing they can dues to solve the problem.

Again, that is my opinion.
