I was concerned that the other thread was too long and would not let enough g owners know about what you were trying to get together

I will be the only slate coupe and also the oldest guy there (I'm Guessing )

if no one else shows at least we can get a beer ar sam's boathouse

You have not missed it yet! It's tonight, Saturday night. I won't be able to make it myself, gotta be in the Woodlands.

thanx. as long as everything's still on, I'll get ready and leave around 3. that'll give me time to wash/wax and then drive there.

that's how I roll. very easy to recognize (and hear, ask cato).

whoah, livy, I just noticed you're in San Antonio? You sure you want to drive that far for a meet? I wouldn't want you to drive that far and go through so much trouble if not a lot of people are going to show. Of course you're welcomed. But let me warn you, there's been times on here where we've tried to set up numerous g meets in Houston and it ended up being a bust. But if you do make it tonight, I really hope that those of you who actually say that you were going to come, will actually show up.

euro, thanx for the support. if cato can drive to austin for a postponed meet, I can make it to Houston on a great day like today. it's only a couple hours. as long as everyone who says they're going does show, I'd consider it worth it. and as has been said, we've got to start working to get more support for the G group around here. Houston and DFW are the largest concentrations of G's in TX so why not base things on one of those cities? DFW is farther for me, but Houston isn't much of a drive. more time to spend driving my car, right? and yes I will need directions. if I make it in, I'll be coming in on I-10.
