H-Town Monthly Meet: July 2

Hey all you G "drivers"

I guess it's been decided that there will be a rally in Brazos Bend on July 2 @ 7am. This should be an exciting meet we'll get to take the turns and straights of Brazos bend with no traffic around! Please keep posted to this and the rally link in this forum for more details to come!

Rather than "talk" about what you put in your car come out prove that it works!!

"Go fast...Go hard...or Go home"

Heheh...maybe this challenge will set you off to come out!

I drove out past Brazos Bend State Park today and mapped out our route. I had never been past BBSP (Brazos Bend State Park) before so I wanted to chart the route beyond. My drive took me to places I have never been to before, small country towns with names like Fairchilds Village and Pleak Village. The stretch out to BBSP has many turns with yellow diamond speed limits of 40 and 45 mph. I took them between 65-70 mph. YEEEHAAAA! I think we can take them a wee bit faster. There are no banks on these curves so you gotta have the VDC on. I want to finalize the route back to H-town a bit. I drove back on N59. I'm gonna modify that and come back another way. N59 sucks! This rally will not be a last minute plan... So far the milage for this route is about 60 miles.

I just mapped out the route on Yahoo maps and modified the route back to H-Town. N59 really sucks, so we are gonna take the Grand Parkway to Clodine Rd. Run Clodine Rd. up to Westheimer. Then we all could drive down the Westheimer to Le-Peep for breakfast and call it quits?

That's a pretty good line. I couldn't have said it better myself.

Is 6:45 am too early for the lazy ones? If so, I think we could push it to 7:45 and still be ok. Let's hear what you guys think..............................

Ok Ok, Let's meet at 8:00 am at Starbucks Town Center. Java up and head out around 8:15ish?
Arrive with plenty of gas, a two way radio if you have one, bring an extra for those who don't have one. I have 1 pair of 22 chan radios.

1.) Can someone meet me around 45 and 1960 to lead me? I'm new to Houston...no idea where I'm going!?

2.) Can we have passangers in the cars?

Thanks! Let me know!
Of course passengers are welcome. Directions from way up north:
Take beltway 8 all the way to US59. Exit 59 south. Continue on 59 S and exit
Highway 6. Turn left onto Hw 6 under the overpass. Make the first right into Town Center.
