Hey all, I just moved to Austin and am looking for a place to get my cars tinted. I'd rather go with someones rec than picking a place out of the phone book.

Also a paintless dent removal shop if anyone knows, thanks!!

 

not sure about the PDR, but all of our cars from BMW of Austin go to a small shop near McNeil and 183. I'll get the address and phone number from work tomorrow.

 

i still haven't found a shop to install tint either. i was thinkin mother's window tint, how are they? i need a clear bra install too.

 

Me too! I just got my sedan and need tint. I work near 183 and Pond Springs. What tint shop were you refering to? I guess I can drive over there since I dont recall seeing anything there. Anyone else have suggestions for Austin places, preferably north and preferably someone I wont have to kill for screwing up my G! LOL...

 

Looks like BMW uses UV cool window tint on McNeil. I'm headed there tomorrow morning and will post on their work. Where are all the ATX guys, surely you guys surf the net at work!

I had the car tinted yesterday. $200 out the door. Went with the same shade all the way around. The guy was cool, said he does the BMW and Acura dealerships but cant handle the extra work from the Audi/Saub dealership. As far as quality, looks good so far but wont know for a few more days, when the bubbles are all gone. BTW, he is on Pond Springs Road now, not McNeil.

 

I've had severa lcars done at AltaMere on 183 and have been happy with their work. They did the G, and it turned out great.
