As an alternative, we could do one G at a time. Get togeather for an install, do it and plan the next one for another day. Or drive the Gs to the install location and let them cool down. I don't think they need more than a few hours to cool down completely? My install will take longer as I plan on changing the spark plugs while the intake plenum is completely removed.

My shipment just arrived! Here is a pic of what I will be installing very soon...
For all interested in the group install: What do you think about gathering at my garage, chill and install this on my G. Learn from my mistakes, (few) and take your new found knowledge to your own G? I plan on changing my spark plugs during this install, as they will be easily accessable with the plenum removed. By doing a group install, we will learn how to do this collectively....

I sent Tony a letter with a check. I didn't get any info until the package was dropped at my doorstep this evening. I'm thinking about an install this Saturday morning/afternoon?

I'm waiting on mine, it would be nice to do the install this weekend since it is supposed to cool down quite a bit but I'm not sure when it will arrive.

the gb ends the 8th with everything shipped by the 15th according to Tony. I finally decided to go ahead and get it since it is not that expensive and we have just gone through such a hot,dry period

for $58, I probably should just buy it. I mena even if I never install it I could sell it.

Maybe I'll get it and see how the install(s) go starting with cato.

I bought my new spark plugs, have the gasket and Coolant control valve. I think I have all the tools. MaxPower won't have his gasket until next week. So I plan on doing the install Saturday, October 15.

If any of you guys are still trying to decide whether or not to do this mod. DO IT! I love mine!

Get the 1/2" spacer with the IsoThermal gasket.

For the money, it's by far the best mod.

Very good bang for the buck.
