I have a black coupe, and i would like to get all the swirl marks out of it, etc... i don't have the time or patience to do it myself, so if any of you guys know of a place where they do good work and that i can trust, please let me know... thanks...

The "Car Masseuse" does a very good job on vehicles. They do many high end models. I let them was my car every once in a while. Everything they do is by hand. They charge $25.00 just to wash the car.

See this for their location:

I'm a strong believer: if you want to do it right, do it yourself. I will soon buy a power puffer (probably the Porter Cable) for my blk 06' 6MT. This will be a new experience for me, thus, very hesitant. If you (or any one else) want to hook up, I'm in Sugar Land.

I have the rates at home but, right now I'm stuck in the Rio Grande Valley seeing my family without a car. There is no fun having to drive the trucks and SUVs in my family.

As for a car wash alone, they charge $25.00. They do a very good job at getting the car clean. You might see a BMW, Benz, Porsche or something exotic at the place. Depending on how many vehicles are in line will determine how long it might take. You might want to call them and ask them for the rates.

I use to own a detail shop on the side. It was NOT in Houston. It was down in the valley. The condo where I live really does not wish for us to was our cars. I will wax it and take care of the interior without a problem, when I can find time to do it.

If you wish to meet at a place, let me know. I will assist you if needed.

I dont know if this helps or not but my wife use to know a hispanic couple that detailed cars. They did an incredible job on the high end cars they were detailing. They spent 4 hours on each car. I think the cost was around $200. If you guys want to go this route, I can get their names and number for inquiry. BTW, this was legit. They detailed my wifes boss's Porache 911, Lexas LX470, SL 500 and CLK 430 every 2 months.

I was hoping we can all get together and share the learning experience. Looks like we can get a small group together for a detailing session. SRHTX do you have some tools of the trade? We would appreciate your expertise.

I volunteer my house @ New Territory Sugar Land. I have a detached garage, a long drive way, and beer. If anybody else have a better ideal place, please speak up.

Houston G,

I do not rush things when I'm cleaning my own vehicle. It takes me over 30 minutes to wash it. I wash my engine every once in a while as well. I have not washed the engine in the new car yet since I'm waiting for one more thing to arrive.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are some of the rates at The Car Masseuse:

Hand Wash - $25.00
Includes - hand wash, vacuum, windows, trunk, dress tires, and other ususal cleanings
Allow 45 - 60 minutes

Complete Interior - $120.00
Includes - car wash, shampoo, floor mats, seats, door material & trunk, They use Lexol. Clean door jambs and condition the weather stripping plus spot clen the headliner
Allow 4+ hours

Four Stage (Buff, Polish, Condition & Wax) - $165.00+ up
I'm sure you can figure that one out.
Allow 4 hours

Last - Complete Detail - $265.00
Includes everything from top to bottom.
Allow full day

Please be advised that the rates shown are for CARs ONLY!!!
