JWT Pop Charger
JWT Pop Charger
I know that this topic has been beat to death, but I'm curious if anyone has any new input/experience. I have a Z-tube with stock airbox and K&N filter, but would like a little more intake noise and I like the way the JWT PC looks. Three questions: 1) Will the JWT be louder than my current set-up, 2) is my car going to idle/run like s**t when the Texas heat arrives, and 3) Is heat soak really an issue with the JWT PC?? Thanks!

I think the loudest setups are cold air intakes. I had the AEM and it was LOUD - kinda raspy, but it was nice. As for short intakes, when it rained hard I would make mine a shorty [it was two pipes] and it was slightly longer then the JWT but the sound was cut alot from what I was used to but I didn't get as much rasp. Definately more tamed shorter.

Beat to death is correct. All your questions are answered already. Do a search. Yes, the Pop Charger will add alot of sound to your intake! Your G should idle as before the Pop Charger. Yes, the Pop Charger will ingest more heat than the stock airbox or the Stillen air box.
