Ticket

Got busted going south off the exit ramp on 45 south around the Dallas/Pierce exit. Cars were stacked up as they were sitting at the Jefferson split. To top things off, the cop decided he would "do me a favor" and give me a nother ticket for placing my registration sticker upside down. My valentine (stupid *()&#). Anyany, before I call a lawyer, does anyone have any advice. I was ticketed 54 at a 40 zone. BTW, my V1 did go off, but it was lazer. Thanks.

Dont u guys have those traffic ticket guys?
I'm charged as careless driving with 6 Points, and i was told by my lawyer not to worry a about it. The fact is if i loose the case in the court which is held on May, there's a chance i'll get my G lice taken away, plus having a careless charge has a bigggggg a$$ affect on insurance companies. But than again i was assured that the charge would be off my neck.

Try there and ask for advice.

Why would you have the registration sticker upside down? That is just asking for trouble!

You've got a registration sticker on your own Ontario plates.

A few years ago the state of Texas elimianted the license plate sticker and replaced it with a windshield sticker. It was too easy to steal the valid plates, much harder to steal a plate plus a windshield! So in Texas there are two windshield stickers, one is the annual state inspection and the other is the annual license plate renewal sticker. The cops can sit on the side of the road and just watch the front windshields for violators.

The new registration stickers are horrible! I'll be getting dealer plates in July so that I don't have to have that ugly thing in my window anymore.

First...take a pic of your reg sticker the way it is now.....take it off put it up right...then take another pic. Take that evidence to court and the judge shoudl throw out the reg violation ticket.

Now for the speeding I always use David Sprecher...he's the man. Since you got it on 45s dallas area he can help you out. He can only handle tickets in the Houston city limits.

Here's his info.
Sprecher David S Attorney - Office
2205 Montrose Boulevard
Houston, TX 77006

I would agree with lance.
You did know you were speeding right? Or is your speedometer broken?
Then just take defensive driving or pay the ticket. Don't clog up our courts fighting something that you know you are guilty of.
