I was wondering if anybody goes to Orlando Infiniti? I want to add some parts to my car, but I asked them if I added intake, exhaust, headers ect... What would that do with my warranty? I know that they have to prove that the aftermarket parts caused a problem, but just want to make sure.
If any of you guys go there, what service guy do you deal with?
Thanks,
B

I would ask to speak to Peter. He is the owner. Their service dept. is average at best. If you really want great service, take you car to Lokey Infiniti in Clearwater. Many of our members take their car there from here in Orlando, including myself. They are also a sponsor of our club and our members enjoy discounts on aftermarket parts and accessories. Why aren't you a member of the FGC yet?

You are being prudent since this is a legal technicality that could take about a year or so to resolve. The Dealer and manufacturer make their assessment and then if you disagree, you have to get a lawyer and sue. An infinitely better recourse is to understand the warranty implications of your mod before it's done and not afterwards, and if at all possible get it in writing. Never forget the fact that it's the manufacturer and not the Dealer that honors the warranty.
Of course the ideal situation is if there's a solid relationship between the tuner and manufacturer, like AMG has with MB and Dinan has with BMW. In this case the Dealer knows that either the tuner or the manufacturer will cover the work. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any such tuner relationship with Nissan, at least not in the US.

The JWT intake is supposedly covered by the Nissan warranty if anything happens as a result of that..
