Looking to have tint put on, 35 up the front and maybe, 20-25% in the back. Can anyone please recommend a shop in the Jacksonville area? I'm still not sure what brand to pick yet, tho, I've read alot of posts that highly recommended Huper Optic. Any other brands, in case Huper isn't carried by the shops here? One more thing, do installers tint the rear windshield all the way up to cover the dot matrices or stop short of it? What do you guys suggest?

Tint specialist on St Johns Bluff, they should be able to hook you up with legal for around $150 and they will do a nice job on it. They have exp with G35s. Send me a PM if you want to take a look at mine. I live by UNF.

Do you have any pictures Red? What percent tint did you get?

 

i originally had 15%, but i wanted to go darker so i had another layer of 15% put on the sides.

 

I have Mr. Cool do my tint in Orange Park, off Wells Rd.
They've done 15% -35% for me all for 75bucks.

I highly recommend them. had work done on my Saturn, Mazda3 5dr. and Rx8

as far as covering up the entire rear window or not, most shops do the entire rear window unless customer request is to another spec.

 

I have a friend who has a tint shop in Orange Park. One partner i've known for years and has been doing my tint for about 11 yrs now, and the guy i'm speaking of now the other partner has done my Black G35 Coupe and now my Ivory Pearl G35 Coupe. I have 4 or 5% all round, sunroof, strip on the front window. Good price and done right.

 

Sorry for the late reply, was out of town. Anyway, Tint Specialist, off St John's Bluff, installs metallic tint, will that not affect my Navi or the Sat radio?

Thanks for the info. Will call them tomorrow and probably get tint put on next weekend as I have to bring the G to the dealer this weekend for its 3-month service.
