infiniti of raleigh service (change in opinion)
infiniti of raleigh service (change in opinion)
i believe in not only reporting when bad things happen (to caution other g-drivers), but i also believe in giving credit when credit is due.
a couple years ago i had an issue with the service department at infiniti of raleigh (i think it's crossroads infiniti now). the details were described in an earlier thread. i'm not going to link the thread because that is completely behind me... i'm not sure if it is the result of my actions from this earlier incident, or not, but that is in the past (as far as i'm concerned).
the good news i have to bring is that since that issue, i've had nothing but great experiences with everybody in the service department... everyone, from the service manager, the reps, the techs (sean or shawn) is the only tech to have ever service my g35 in the 3 years i've lived in nc. he treats my car as if it were his. he stands by his work.
i can proudly say that after 49 1/2 months of ownership, i have a perfectly functioning car... no rattles, no oil burning, no creaking, no engine issues, etc...
i've turned in my car on average 2 times per year for service, and they've serviced my car (except for one issue which was just resolved yesterday) to my satisfaction.
but i've been out of town recently when trying to address a knocking noise around the suspension on the passenger front side. paul, the service rep, has worked very well with me, through my wife (and her translation of my desciptions), repeatedly for 3 visits. they've been very patient, and could've even charged me for some of the work they did for me (fixing an o2 sensor when it was attached to an aftermarket header improperly by another installer)... but they kept simple - simple.
we are considering a qx, and if we get one, we will get it at the dealership in raleigh, and it's because i am completely satisfied with the competence, ability, cooperation, and understanding i've received for the last two years.
if anybody has any questions about any details about who, what, where, and when, let me know... i do think that not everybody has the same experience as me, and i do feel kind of lucky that i am able to establish a relationship with the people that service my vehicle. i hope everybody else can enjoy the services that my family has enjoyed.

they are good at giving loaners for oil changes and thats it. I had to take my car to Greensboro to get the tranny replaced bc of the bad 3rd gear synchro bc they have a bunch of idiots wrenching there..
FTL: Raleigh infiniti blows!

I've been pretty happy with Crossroads Infiniti, I've only been going to them for 2 years, and I haven't any any major work done to my car because it only has 18k on it. They do keep trying to get me to have their 15k service done but I keep shooting them down. The car has always come back clean, and all the work has been done in a timely manner, plus they are very willing to offer a loaner with an appointment. Lexus will not even allow you to have one unless you are doing somethign major. Also most of the service guys have stayed around which is rare the two other dealerships I take my cars too I have been through 3 service managers, in 2 years.
